The Piibel Koigele (the Bible for Everyone) is a new Estonian translation developed from the Free Bible Version. After the initial translation it is then editorially checked and examined for accuracy against the Greek and Hebrew.
The Piibel Koigele is released under a Creative Commons BY-SA licence which means that it can be used and printed without the need for permission or royalty payments, in order that it may be as widely distributed as possible.
It is a non-denominational translation that uses modern language and seeks to be easy to read, so that all may understand God’s Word.
To date the four gospels have been completed, and the rest of the New Testament is in progress.
The Piibel Koigile Foundation is a non-profit organization registered with the Estonian authorities.
